Health insurance and travel out of the US

If you are traveling out of the United States and a health emergency should arise, you will have to follow whatever rule that country has for health care reimbursement. Once back home, if you have a PPO, you are allowed to submit those bills to your insurance carrier. You will receive credit toward out of network deductible. Remember to always carry your health insurance information with you whenever traveling and call the customer service number on the back of your card if you have any questions.
